According to Fussball Transfers, out-of-favour Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic is wanted by Bundesliga outfit Hannover.
The Serbia international, 23, is worth £16million as per Liverpool’s valuation, but if his German suitors are willing to do business for that price is unknown.
Markovic arrived Anfield from Benfica for £20million 3 seasons ago, but have spent the last 2 on loan at 3 different clubs.
Boss Jurgen Klopp declared that the winger is up for sale days ago, claiming Liverpool are ready to entertain offers from any side that wish to make him theirs on a permanent basis.
Markovic showed flashes of his potential at Hull City during his short stint with the now-relegated side, but those weren’t enough to earn him a place in Klopp’s plans.
The Serb is clearly not able to withstand the pressure and demand that comes with playing for a big side like Liverpool.
A move to Hannover; one of Bundesliga’s minnows, could be all Lazar Markovic needs to get his once-promising career back on track.
