Everton reportedly in prime position to sign 26-year-old; £10million release clause

Turkish news outlet Fanatik has revealed that Everton are now in prime position to land highly-rated Osmanlispor midfielder Badou N’Diaye.

The Senegalese international had earlier been on West Ham’s radar and was reportedly close to a switch.

However, talks between both clubs have broken down due to transfer fees, and the Merseyside club now has an advantage, if they are willing to meet the £10million release clause slammed on the 26-year-old.

N’Diaye arrived Turkey from Norwegian outfit Glimt in 2015 for €350,000, but has since seen his stock rise following some consistent spectacular performances in the heart of Osmanlispor’s midfield.

With Everton’s midfield duo Gareth Barry and James McCarthy linked with moves away this summer, N’Diaye represents a cheap but a quality option for Ronald Koeman.

The Senegalese has also caught the eyes of Newcastle, but a move to Everton looks more likely.
