Liverpool reportedly move closer to making £8million signing

According to reports, Liverpool target Andy Robertson has left the Hull City training camp in Portugal which raises the speculation that he will be joining Liverpool ahead of next season.

The Reds are said to have negotiating with the Tigers over a £8 million deal to sign the defender.

The 23-year-old Robertson was impressive for Hull last season despite the club’s relegation from the Premier League and boasts 115 first team appearances since arriving from Dundee United in 2014.

Should Robertson join the Reds, it is likely that he will at first be required to provide cover and competition to James Milner at left-back.

There is no doubt that Robertson will be keen on the move considering that it will allow him to play in the Champions League and for a team that could potentially challenge for the Premier League title next season.

Should he move to Anfield, it could also mean that Jurgen Klopp’s team will part ways with Alberto Moreno.
