Rangers fix up a friendly clash against former European Champions

After they were eliminated from the European competitions, Glasgow Rangers now have enough time to play friendly matches.

Their boss, Pedro Caixinha, is looking for free opponents to play against in order to improve his team’s form and test their strength before the upcoming Scottish Premier League season.

The latest club with whom they have negotiated a match is the French powerhouse Olympique Marseille. The former European champion and the Gers will clash on next Saturday, and the spectacle will take place at Ibrox.

Before the match, the former Cups’ Winners Cup holder will play against English Premier League side, Watford. This encounter will take place at Vicarage Road on 25th of July and only 5 days later, Rangers will meet Sheffield Wednesday at the famous Hillsborough.

The Scottish Premier League is set start on the 6th of August, when Rangers will travel to Fir Park to play against Motherwell.
