According to reports, German club RB Leipzig have warned Liverpool that Naby Keita is not for sale this summer.
The 22-year-old Keita was a revelation of the Bundesliga during the past season, scoring eight goals and contributing several assists from 31 games to help his side to a shock second place finish in the Bundesliga.
His performances are said to have caught the attention of Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, who is reportedly willing to fork out £70 million to bring the Guinea international to Anfield.
It now appears that Leipzig have made it known that Keita will not be available for sale, at this point in time at least.
Keita has a £55 release clause in his contract which will come into effect next summer and the likelihood is that he will have to play for Leipzig for at least one more season before a transfer takes place.
