Leeds United complete the signing of international attacker

Leeds United have further improved their roster by adding one of the best players in Switzerland during the previous season in Ezgjan Alioski.

The ex-Lugano player clinched a four-year deal with Leeds United after quick negotiations with the team from Elland Road. He played in 50 matches for Lugano during the previous season, scoring 16 goals as well as providing 14 assists and helped his former team to reach the third position in the standings.

Alioski is a versatile player who can cover at least four positions – winger, striker, left back and attacking midfielder. Throughout his career, he played for three clubs, Young boys where he finished the youth academy, Schaffhausen, and Lugano as mentioned earlier.

The 25-year-old was also a member of Macedonian youth national teams, and since 2013, he has been a member of the senior national team. In 13 appearances for his country, Alioski has scored one goal.

The two clubs did not reveal information about a transfer fee for Alioski but he looks set to be a very good signing for the Whites.
