Alejandro Machuca is allegedly set to sign with Leeds United.
The Spanish newspapers Union Rayo has been reporting that the Rayo Vallecano midfielder is close to reaching a deal with the Peacocks and that he has received a permit to go to England and pen the contract.
The 19-year-old player will join Leeds Under-23 team if he ends up at Elland Road. Rayo Vallecano had a plan to keep Machuca, but the Peacocks seem to have proposed a more tempting offer to the player.
The youngster could play either as a winger or offensive player, and he has excellent dribbling. Sources from the Spanish news are also saying that Machuca possesses incredible speed.
Leed United has many links with Spain as manager Thomas Christiansen, a member of a board Ivan Bravo, and technical director Victor Orta are all from the country, and they have a vast scouting network.
