According to reports, Rangers are interested in signing Manchester United youngster Matty Willock ahead of next season.
Willock broke into the United first team towards the end of last season and was named on Jose Mourinho’s roster for matches against West Brom and Crystal Palace, though he failed to earn playing time in either match.
The player was a key part of the United under 23-side last season making 42 appearances for the team, scoring five goals and contributing three assists in the process.
Gers manager Pedro Caixinha is impressed with what he has seen of the youngster and is hoping to recruit him ahead of next season.
What could work in the Gers favor is the fact that both Mourinho and Caixinha are from Portugal. Both are also in similar situations as they are trying to rebuild decorated club and this could also help a deal to take place.
