28-year-old attacking star reportedly not interested in West Ham move

Walcott

According to reports, Theo Walcott is not interested in moving to West Ham and instead wishes to remain with Arsenal.

With Thomas Lemar expected to arrive at Arsenal this summer, many have suggested that Walcott could find regular playing time at the Emirates hard to find next season, which has led to interest from the Hammers.

Reports have suggested that Slaven Bilic’s side are willing to offer £20 million to recruit Walcott as they look to bolster their attack ahead of the upcoming campaign.

The Hammers are desperate to add new attackers to their side after disappointing performances last season.

The fact that there is uncertainty over the future of Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez does not do West Ham’s chances of signing Walcott any good as the situation may persuade manager Arsene Wenger to not listen to offers. Walcott played 37 games for the Gunners in all competitions last season and scored 19 goals.
