Romelu Lukaku has sent a farewell message to Everton as he joins Manchester United. The 24-year-old recently completed a medical with the Red Devils and has joined the Red Devils for around £75 million.
The Belgian international Lukaku joined the Toffees from Chelsea in 2014 for a fee of £28 million and during his time with the club, he scored 68 goals.
He established himself as arguably one of the best strikers in world football last season by smashing 25 goals in the Premier League. Only Harry Kane, who finished the League with 29 goals, had more strikes to his name.
Upon the completion of the deal, Lukaku took to Instagram to post a farewell message to Everton fans and stated, “I want to say a big thank you to all the people involved at Everton.
“I want to thank the fans for your support throughout the four years we’ve spent together. I can proudly say it was an honour to play in front of you.”
