Monaco star Kylian Mbappe has provided a rather cheeky response to rumors linking with a move to Liverpool this summer.
Following some impressive performances in the Ligue one this past season, the 18-year-old Mbappe has been linked with many clubs including Liverpool, Real Madrid and Arsenal.
The young sensation has however appeared to play down the speculation by publishing a statement on social media platform Twitter which read, “Back to Monaco.”
Considering the ability which Mbappe has displayed at such a young age, it is inevitable that he will join one of the more cash-rich and decorated European giants in the near future.
However following Monaco’s impressive displays in the Champions League and Ligue 1 success last season, he may opt to remain at his current club for a season or two in order to continue his development as a player.
From then on, the player’s status of the club is likely to depend on its ability to churn out good results in the Champions League and Ligue 1.
