The long history of the Celtic-Rangers rivalry continues to trudge on. Whether it’s on the field, on the streets, or in court, it continues on and on. And the drama is set to continue now.
This all relates to a Supreme Court case that ended today in relation to a tax avoidance scheme. Celtic are alleging that Rangers used this scheme in order to aid their performance in the league over the course of several seasons, according to the Mirror.
They then are also asking that the Light Blues be stripped of their titles from those season be stripped of them. This is a huge revelation, and one that was bound to happen after all that has happened in the past few years between these sides.
No matter what happens here, the rivalry is not about to let up. There will continue to be contention and disagreement, and the hope is that violence will not follow.
