As The Sun finds out, the Hammers are interested in acquiring the signature of Raul Jimenez, a prolific attacker who currently plays in Portugal for Benfica.

As a matter of fact, Jimenez is Benfica’s record signing, and his arrival from Atletico Madrid in 2015 set them back for about £18.9 million.

However, it seems that the player is ready to move to the Premier League, and sources close to Portuguese club are saying that a “significant offer” from England should arrive in the next few days.

The 26-year old attacker scored 16 goals in all competitions for Benfica last season, and he also managed to bag 12 goals for his national team. He also scored in their recent win against New Zealand in the Confederations Cup.

Slaven Bilic urgently needs a new striker, and he should probably act quickly since Liverpool are also keeping tabs on Raul Jimenez.
