Leeds reportedly plotting an audacious swoop for Premier League attacker

Leeds United are being linked with a bit of a sensational swoop for former man Robert Snodgrass in this summer transfer window. The current West Ham man just moved to the Hammers in January, but he failed to have much of an impact on the team.

And according to the Express, Leeds are one of the sides being linked with his signature at the present time. The Championship side has been very busy so far, signing a number of players from outside the UK in order to maximize value.

This, then, would come as a bit of a shock. Snodgrass might not be as expensive to buy as he was for the London side, but he’d still knock the Whites back a lot with his cost due to him being from the British Isles alone.

And then there is a question of quality. Leeds have a good squad already, and while they’d take him on a free, it’s not likely he’ll be coming in for the price they’d have to pay. So don’t expect this to gain very much traction here.
