According to The Independent, Monaco has told Arsenal and Tottenham that Thomas Lemar will not be leaving the club this summer.
The Spurs have shown an interest in the player, but no official bid was launched by Mauricio Pochettino. On the other hand, Arsenal has reportedly offered £31 million for the starlet, but Monaco immediately rejected the bid.
Apparently, Monaco value Lemar at around £75 million. Due to this fact, the Spurs have cooled down their interest in the player who scored against them last autumn in the Champions League.
With the departure of Bernardo Silva, Monaco are desperate to keep Thomas Lemar at the club, and the 21-year-old winger plays a big role in their plans for the upcoming season.
Also, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Benjamin Mendy, and Fabinho are set to leave the club, which further stresses the importance of Lemar in Monaco’s team.
