Bolton Wanderers reportedly set to sign defender from West Ham

The Mirror is reporting that Reece Burke, a highly rated West Ham defender, is set to go on a season-long loan at Bolton, where he would reconnect with his former coach Phil Parkinson.

Burke and Parkinson were working together at Bradford, and it seems that they could continue their cooperation.

Newly promoted Bolton Wanderers are looking for reinforcements to their back line, and Reece Burke could be a great solution for their defense. Even though he is just 20 years of age, Burke has collected 5 Premier League appearances.

The promising defender was introduced to the first team by Sam Allardyce back in 2015. After that, the player was sent to a loan spell at Wigan, where he endured a disappointing last season.

Hernia problems prevented him from giving his best, and he only played 10 games over the entire campaign.
