Leeds United reportedly complete the signing talented 25-year-old attacker

According to a report out of Switzerland (Ticino News), Leeds United have made yet another splash in the summer transfer window. This time around it is the signing of winger Gianni Alioski.

The Macedonian is 25 years of age, and will be making his move from Swiss club side FC Lugano, who finished third in the Swiss Super League last term. He managed to finish third in the scoring charts with 16 goals in the Super League while also racking up 14 assists. That assists total was enough to put him in third place as well.

The winger prefers to play with his left foot, but he has been known to be particularly effective from wide on the right. This is something that will be good for Leeds as they seek to build more attacking threat around Chris Wood. Look for the Macedonian to potentially be a big part of the puzzle of getting this side promoted.

You’ve got to really tip your cap to Leeds for looking ‘outside the box’ for signings. Whether these work or not are up for debate, but if they do work and the club gain promotion, they will be left looking like absolute geniuses.
