As TalkSport finds out, Tottenham has “agreed personal terms” with Nice for the transfer of highly-rated French striker Vincent Marcel.

Reportedly, the only thing left to do is to agree on a fee with the club, but it seems that the player is keen on a move to London. Of course, working with Mauricio Pochettino is a dream come true for any young player, and Marcel will certainly have a lot to learn.

If the deal does go through, the story of Marcel could be a highly interesting one. He was “discovered” by the Spurs by accident, i.e. they were monitoring another Nice player, Ricardo Pereira.

However, the pace of the player, who has drawn comparisons with Ousmane Dembele, attracted the scouts, and it seems that he could move to London after all.

The 20-year-old midfielder took part in 9 games for Nice last term, but his lack of first-team football will not be a problem for Pochettino.
