Leeds United reportedly could complete major signing for £5million

It seems that there is a chance for an old acquaintance to move back to Elland Road this summer.

The Daily Star has claimed that Jonny Howson might return to Leeds, and this news has been one of the most important in the English Championship this Sunday.

Howson’s current club, Norwich City, wants to sell the midfielder as the new sporting director Stuart WebEber of the Canaries intends to rebuild the whole squad.

Howson is not in that plans, especially after he rejected a new contract from Norwich, stating that he wishes to go back to Yorkshire.

Leeds will have to play £5 million in order to land the 29-year-old midfielder once again at Elland Road, the club where he spent 15 years previously. He started as a 9-year-old, and progressed through all youth selections, and debuted for the first team, at 18.

Howson has 185 appearances for the Peacocks, and he has scored 23 goals and he would certainly be an excellent addition to the Thomas Christiansen team.
