Manchester City along with Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are all reported to be in the race to sign Monaco star Djibril Sidibe.
With Pablo Zabaleta having joined West Ham and Bacary Sagna set to be released, City will be in need of a new right back. Having recently won the Ligue 1 with Monaco, Sidibe could be a perfect signing.
Spurs’ interest in Sidibe is said to be stemming from the uncertainty surrounding the future of Kyle Walker.
The 27-year-old Walker is said to be a target of Manchester City and may favor a move to Pep Guardiola’s side as he has fallen down the pecking order at Spurs, with Mauricio Pochettino opting to utilize Kieran Trippier during the final few games of this past season.
According to French source, L’Equipe, Monaco are preparing to draw battle lines in order to deflect bids for Sidibe, who helped the club win the French League as well as reach the semi-finals of the Champions League this season.
