Dutch football legend Frank de Boer has claimed that Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen is ready to play for a club like Barcelona. According to reports, the Spanish giants are interested in acquiring the services of the Danish international during the summer.
Eriksen has played a key role in Spurs impressive displays this season, capturing 11 goals as well as 20 assists for his club in all competitions. He has also established himself as arguably one of the world’s best attacking midfielders.
De Boer said, “I think he’s ready for a step higher. He has everything that a Barcelona player must have. He has an overview, he has a work ethic, and he kicks well with both feet.”
It has been reported that Barca are set to undergo a massive squad revamp during the summer which was partly as a result of the disappointment of their elimination at the hands of Juventus in the UEFA Champions League.
