Stan Collymore explains how Tottenham can beat Chelsea

Eden Hazard

Former England striker turned analyst Stan Collymore has said that Tottenham Hotspur may use Eric Dier to mark Eden Hazard during the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea on Saturday.

Spurs will go into the match full of confidence as they are currently on a run of eight straight wins in all competitions.

While Chelsea on the other hand are atop the Premier League standings above their London rivals by four points, they suffered a very disappointing 2-0 defeat to Manchester United during the weekend.

Collymore believes that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will closely aim to curtail Hazard, who has been one of Chelsea’s best attackers this season.

He wrote in his Mirror column, “Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will have seen the job Ander Herrera did on Hazard and that might just change the way Eric Dier is deployed and, for that matter, other opponents when they return to the Premier League are too.”
