In the 2018 CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers, Trinidad & Tobago will host Panama at the Hasely Crawford Stadium this Friday, March 24, 2017 (4:00 PM Pacific). Both teams need a win from this game to start summing up points in a very contested Hexagonal stage of the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers.

Trinidad & Tobago is off to a horrendous start in this campaign having lost to Costa Rica and Honduras in its first two games. The Caribbean side’s best players will be made up of players that reside in the MLS, most notably captain, Kenwyne Jones of Atlanta United. Another intriguing player for Dennis Lawrence will be 19-year-old, Levi Garcia of Dutch club, AZ Alkmaar.  This game will be a tough one for the islanders, being a must win.

Panama is doing very well in this Hexagonal phase currently in third place with four points. The Red Tide achieved two very shocking results, beating Honduras 1-0 away from home and drawing 0-0 to Mexico at home. Some of the more intriguing players for Hernan Dario Gomez will be former Liga MX players in Felipe Baloy, Blas Perez and Luis Tejada. Panama should be able to win this game comfortably, despite being away from home. The match should be a hard-fought, physical encounter with both teams trying their best to get the three points from the game.
