Neil Harris calls for tough sanctions against racist Millwall fans

Millwall manager Neil Harris has called for fans of his club, who allegedly racially abused Tottenham forward Song-Heung Min, to be dealt with harshly after the South Korea was allegedly the subject of abuse during Spurs 6-0 triumph over the League 1 club during Sunday’s FA Cup quarter final clash.

There were apparently abusive comments heard from the Millwall supporters present at White Hart Lane. For Son it ended up being a good game as he bagged a hat-trick to help his club win a place in the semi-finals.

Harris claimed not to have heard the abusive chants though he emphasized that his club do not tolerate racism of any kind.

Harris said, “I didn’t hear anything. What I will say is me personally, but also the club, we won’t condone that, if there is [proof]. We want to focus on the achievement of getting here. I want people dealt with harshly.”
