Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino believes Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the world after the 23-year-old struck a hat-trick during Spurs’ 4-0 thrashing of Stoke City.
Kane opened the scoring for the North London club by bagging his 100th goal in professional football and then went on to score two more before half time, effectively end the match for Stoke.
Kane won the Premier League golden boot last season notched his 22nd goal from 26 matches in all competitions this season and his manager was full of praise for him after the match.
During the post match interview, Pochettino said, “He’s a fantastic player, one of the top strikers in the world, I think he deserves it [his hat-trick] because he’s a great professional and a top man and I’m very happy for him.”
The England international’s treble against Stoke was the third of his career and it was also his second in a week after he also scored three against Fulham last Sunday.
