Report: Everton targeting £17million-rated attacker from Serie A

According to Calciomerto (Caught Offside in English), Everton are interested in signing Palermo’s Ilija Nestorovski and had sent scouts to watch him on Friday when his team played against Juventus.

Nestorovski established himself as a quality player during his tenure with Croatian club Nk Inter Zapresi scoring an impressive 69 goals from 90 appearances.

His performances for the Croatian team led to him moving to Palermo where he has earned himself the role of being a key member of the squad.

The 26-year old-has bagged nine goals and captured three assists from the 25 Serie A League games he has played.

Everton are reportedly targeting Nestorovski as he may be required to fill in the void left by Romelu Lukaku, who is likely to attract lucrative offers from some of Europe’s biggest clubs during the summer.

The Belgian superstar will certainly be difficult to replace, however Nestorovski certainly has the ability and maturity to become a key member of the Everton squad if indeed the transfer takes place.
