The Le10Sport have reported that Tottenham have joined Barcelona in the race to sign Monaco sensation Kylian M’Bappe.
The 18-year-old has shown signs of becoming a future superstar. He has bagged seven Ligue 1 goals and also contributed five assists.
Many have compared M’Bappe to French legend Thierry Henry. The youngster even went as far as breaking Henry’s record as the youngest goal scorer for Monaco when he scored his first goal against Troyes aged 17 years and two months.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger who knows Henry well having managed him through the heyday of his career, admitted that there are indeed similarities between M’Bappe and the Gunners all time leading goalscorer.
He said in December,“[He’s] not exactly Thierry Henry, but it is true that he has similar qualities, and the future and talent is similar,”
M’Bappe is a player who majority of the football world will definitely come to know over the next few years, it is perhaps only a matter of time before he leaves Monaco.
