Everton manager Ronald Koeman believes that his team will benefit from their mid-season break in Dubai.
The Merseyside club will not play next week after being eliminated from the FA Cup by Leicester City last month and will enjoy a two week break from football.
They will spend six days in the Gulf State. Koeman believes that the five day training camp will help to re-energize the team as they prepare for their final 13 matches of the season and attempt to finish in the top six.
Koeman told Everton TV, “I’ve not seen the weather forecast but I hope it’s not the same as Saturday. We will do good training sessions in better conditions.”
The two week break from football will definitely help the side in their preparations for the final phase of the season. It will allow players to recover from fatigue and to regain confidence in training after their disappointing draw with Boro.
