Tottenham star Dele Ali has been named the Premier League player of the month. The 20-year-old scored five goals to assist his club in keeping their title hopes alive. Tottenham remain in second position, nine points adrift of first placed Chelsea.
Ali beat off Seamus Coleman, Harry Kane, Alexis Sanchez as well as Gylfi Sigurdsson to win the gong as he played a pivotal role in Spurs claiming three wins and two draws last month.
Swansea manager Paul Clement won the manager of the month award after dramatically improving the form of the Swans.
After taking charge of Swansea when they were last on the table, Clement helped his club claim nine points from a possible 12, which included a 3-2 win over Liverpool.
As a result of the changes Clement has implemented, Swansea are a point above the relegation zone though they still face a challenge to keep their Premier League status as we approach the end of the season.
