According to reports in Spain, current Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has been offered a new contract by club president Josep Maria Bartomeu but has yet to commit to the offer.
A strong target of Barcelona should Enrique depart, is their former player and current Everton manager Ronald Koeman according to Barcablaugranes.
Koeman is currently doing an impressive job as manager of Everton, helping the club to obtain impressive results and unearthing talent from within the teams youth academy who have excelled for the senior team.
Many Everton fans do expect him to stay for the long term and help build a team that are genuine title contenders. If Koeman continues the progress that he has done on the team this season, he will have a good chance of building a genuinely trophy contending team.
However the lure of managing Barcelona, a club which he played for will certainly be appealing. Only time will tell what will happen.
