According to Essex Live News, Olimpique Lyon star and West Ham target Alexandre Lacazette wishes to leave his club, however he wishes to join Barcelona.
West Ham submitted a bid of £40 million for the player during the summer but had their bid rejected by the French club who maintained that their star was not for sale.
Lacazette has been on impressive form this season, notching 18 goals from 18 appearances this season in Ligue 1. This is bound to attract the interest of high profile trophy winning clubs.
It now looks as if Lacazette will not be joining West Ham and he wishes to join Barcelona and form a partnership alongside Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.
Lacazette reportedly said, “Barcelona to join Umtiti? It is a very big club. They have extraterrestrials up front. It would be a dream.
“If that happens, great, but I am not here to say that I will take a place from Luis Suarez. But I would like to play for them one day.”
