Tottenham Hotspur keen on signing 21-year-old striker

According to the Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing Malaga forward Sandro Ramirez.

His release clause is set to be of great interest to the London club given that he has been a long term target of theirs. The Spaniard has a £6.9 million release clause which could jump down to £5.2 million during the summer.

The 21-year-old Ramirez was a product of Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy, having joined from his hometown club of Las Palmas in 2009 at the age of 14.

During his stint with Barcelona B, Ramirez impressed netting 15 goals in 61 games. He was promoted to the Barcelona first team and managed seven goals in 32 appearances before being transferred to Malaga last year.

Given that Tottenham may see high profile players moving away this summer with Dele Ali and Harry Kane being linked with moves away from White Hart Lane, replacements will be needed. If there are departures, it is especially likely that Tottenham will intensify their attempts to sign Ramirez.
