Report: Champions League outfit eyeing up a move for Chelsea man

Paris Saint Germain are reportedly interested in bringing Chelsea misfit Michy Batshuayi on loan till the end of the season, according to reports from the Daily Mirror.

Chelsea forked out £33.2 million for the 23 year old during the summer, however he has failed to start a single Premier League match for the Blues.

All in all this season, he has made 12 Premiership appearances for Chelsea from the bench, scoring one goal and netting 3 goals in other competitions. West Ham and Swansea have also been linked with the player, however if PSG escalate their interest with a firm offer, it is likely that Batshuayi will prefer them.

Batshuayi is a proven match winner in the French Ligue 1, having netted 26 goals in 38 games during two seasons with Marseille. PSG are keen to bolster their attacking pedigree as a lack of quality in attack sees them occupy third place in Ligue 1, behind leaders Nice and second placed Monaco. The fact that Batshuayi is not cup-tied in the Champions League is also attractive to them.
