Chelsea welcome Ronald Koeman’s Everton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon and will surely be looking to continue their winning form in front of their own fans.
It’ll be a difficult game for Conte’s men as Everton have been very solid since the start of the current campaign and Koeman knows how to organize his team.
Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois
The Belgian has played in all of Chelsea’s league games so far this season and is one of Conte’s key players.
Central defenders: Gary Cahill, David Luiz and Cesar Azpilicueta
Conte won’t make any changes to his defense and formation as the team hasn’t conceded a single goal in its last four league games. Luiz is now fully settled into the team, Cahill has recovered from his nightmare game at Arsenal, whereas Azpilicueta has once again shown that he’s extremely flexible.
Right wing-back: Victor Moses
The Nigerian is thriving in Conte’s new formation and is currently one of Chelsea’s most important players.
Central midfielders: N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic
Conte’s midfield duo is of utmost importance to the team. Both Matic and Kante have been doing fantastically well since the start of the season and are currently irreplaceable.
Left wing-back: Marcos Alonso
The Spanish defender has adapted to the demands of English football very quickly and is showing he’s perfectly comfortable as a wing-back.
Right winger: Willian
Pedro Rodriguez started Chelsea’s last two Premier League games, but Willian is the better player and it’s time for him to get back into Conte’s Premier League starting eleven. The former Shakhtar Donetsk winger should be in good enough physical and mental state to start against Everton.
Left winger: Eden Hazard
The Belgium international has started the season very well, scoring 5 goals in Chelsea’s opening 10 Premier League games. If Chelsea want to challenge for the Premier League title this season, they’d need Hazard to be in top form. It’s too early to tell, but the signs are extremely promising.
Striker: Diego Costa
He’s the best striker in the league right now and has rightfully cemented his place into Conte’s starting line-up.
Formation: 3-4-3
