Chelsea Possible lineup vs Hull City: Cahill, Fabregas and Ivanovic dropped

Chelsea travel to the KCOM Stadium on Saturday afternoon in a bid to end their losing run in the Premier League. Conte’s men suffered a painful loss to Arsenal last weekend and will surely be motivated to bounce back with a win against Hull City.

Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois

He conceded three goals at the Emirates Stadium last weekend, but there was nothing he could do about it as Chelsea’s defensive structure was clearly at fault. He’ll keep his place in the starting eleven.

Right-back: Cesar Azpilicueta

The Spaniard could start in his preferred right-back position after Ivanovic’s poor display at Arsenal.

Central defenders: David Luiz and John Terry

John Terry should be fit to start the game after recovering from an ankle injury and is likely to replace Cahill in the starting line-up. The former Bolton centre-back was awful against Arsenal.

Left-back: Marcos Alonso

Alonso made his Premier League debut last weekend, substituting Fabregas in the 55th minute, and is now likely to start his first league game for Chelsea since his move from Fiorentina last month.

Central midfielders: N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic

Both of them had poor games at Arsenal, but Conte is likely to stick with the duo at the KCOM Stadium. They left too much space in midfield for Arsenal and will need to be much more concentrated this weekend if they want to help their team win its first league game since August 27th.

Right winger: Willian

He didn’t have the best game last weekend, but still found himself in good positions to make something happen. He’s one of Chelsea’s most consistent players and Conte is likely to keep him in the team.

Attacking midfielder: Oscar

The Brazilian was an unused substitute at Arsenal, but will surely return to Chelsea’s starting eleven on Saturday. Conte needs his creativity and quick thinking.

Left winger: Eden Hazard

Despite having a poor game against Arsenal, he’s still one of Chelsea’s most important players and is likely to start at Hull City. However, he’ll need to show more tactical discipline as he gave Bellerin far too much space on the right wing last weekend.

Striker: Diego Costa

He was arguably Chelsea’s best player in his team’s previous game and will be the first name on Conte’s team sheet for the game against Hull.

Formation: 4-2-3-1
