Chelsea face Bournemouth away before they host Tottenham. Clive Walker spoke in his interview to Chelsea TV, and said that he believes Chelsea’s performance against Tottenham will depend on how they perform against Bournemouth, and a win would be enough to motivate Hiddink’s men.
When asked about the Tottenham match, Walker responded:
“It will also be built upon the games just before it, so how are we going to do next week against Bournemouth, what is going to happen”
Facing Spurs, who are enjoying a sensational campaign won’t be an easy task as it has been in past years, accepts Walker.
Tottenham’s title chase is glorifying in its own way. They have been on Leicester’s back for quite a while now, though Leicester winning the title is an almost done task. Mauricio Pochettino’s men will, until the last match day, give their blood and breath to over-take Leicester.
Spurs have been impressive this season and have steam-rolled any side they have faced this season. For a Chelsea side which has nothing to play for, they might still ruin Tottenham’s title hopes. In order to do that, Chelsea need to be at their best, according to Clive Walker.
