Todd, in his recent statements made it clear that he will be hoping to get the first-team action under expected coach, Antonio Conte. The 22-year-old has spent 4 years of his career on loan to various teams.

He appreciated the way it has helped him to mature, the defender quoted in his interview to Daily Mirror. Kane, unlike other youngsters has enjoyed playing time with the first-teams rather under-21s.

Chelsea has currently sent 30 of its players out on loan, one of which is Kane. Which makes it difficult for the club to bank on its young stars. Conte, who is certainly going to be Blues’ boss next season will choose experience over young blood.

The Italian needs power and strength in the squad for which he will look upon the experienced personnel of the squad, making it difficult for any loaned player to make an impact on the pitch with Chelsea’s first-team.
