Liverpool are plotting a double Bundesliga raid with Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze and 12-Million rated Cologne left-back Jonas Hector on their radar, as reported by Mirror football.
Mario Gotze is unsure of his Bayern Munich future as the 23-year-old is still unable to pin down a regular spot in the Bayern Munich starting XI. And with Jurgen Klopp offering him a way out from the exile, Gotze is reportedly seriously considering the offer from his former Boss.
The German World Cup winner will enter the last 12-months of his contract with Bayern Munich in the summer. Therefore, Liverpool believe that they could lure him to Anfield for as low as 15-20Million Pounds in the summer.
Another Bundesliga sensation who has been linked with the Reds in recent times is the Cologne left back Jonas Hector. Aged 25, Hector has several years of experience under his belt. Moreover, he also featured briefly on the German side that overthrew a 2-goal lead against England on the weekend.
Liverpool believe that an offer in the region of 12-Million-Pounds will tempt Cologne to sell the left-back. Although Hector plays more on the left back position, he also has the capability to play in the defensive midfield department.
Thus, with the 25-year-old German providing Liverpool guarantee on two positions, the proposed 12-Million transfer to Liverpool would make Hector an absolute bargain for the Reds.
