Chelsea has an advantage over the two Spanish super clubs when it comes to signing the 23-year-old midfielder Paul Pogba, possibly valued at £62m and currently playing with Juventus . According to a French sports source, coach Antonio Conte, who has previously worked with Pogba at Juventus,  is the most likely candidate to be the man in charge at Stamford Bridge next season and this connection should pay off for Chelsea.

The source notes that Conte played a big role in the early development of Pogba’s career, and that this will have an impact on where the player will head next season. As Chelsea sit in 10th place in the table, hopes are pinned on a quick turnaround, and this summer’s transfer window will have to be a big part of any such plan.

The Italian coach is linked with further rumours that former players Arturo Vidal and Leonardo Bonucci could be on the move as well, though at this stage more attention will be paid to the struggle for Pogba.
