Premier League side Manchester United are considering a surprise swoop for Hull City defender Andrew Robertson, according to reports from the Daily Star
Luke Shaw started off the campaign at left back in brilliant fashion and it looked like the young defender would finally be able to justify his whopping £30million price tag this season.
However, a horrific leg break during a Champions League encounter against PSV Eindhoven earlier on in the season meant that Shaw was ruled out for the entire campaign and as a result, Manchester United have struggled in the left back position since.

Second choice Marcos Rojo has also been plagued with persistent injury problems and manager Louis van Gaal has been forced to resort to youngster Cameron Borthwick-Jackson to fill in the void on numerous occasions.
While Borthwick-Jackson has more than acquitted himself well in the first team, it is believed that United are planning to bring in a more established name as both Shaw and Rojo struggle with injuries and now, claims have been made that the Red Devils are considering a move for Hull City star Andrew Robertson.
