According to Daily Mirror, David Moyes will do everything to bring in Toni Kroos to United this summer. Here, we examine three reasons why Kroos’ potential move to Manchester United would make sense.

1. Kroos is unhappy at Bayern, and will be available

The Bayern Munich midfielder is unhappy with his playing time, and refuses to negotiate a new contract. In a last few matches he pulled off man of the match performances, his impact was decisive especially against Arsenal in the Champions league. With his fabulous strike, he managed to break the deadlock, which proved to be a decisive moment in that match later on.

2. Kroos has big competition in Bayern for a place in the first 11

Thiago Alcantara, Mario Goetze, Javi Martinez, and even Philip Lahm, who’s recently been featuring as a defensive midfielder in Bayern, are all competing for two or a three spots in the squad, and of course, Kroos is in the rotation system, which means he rarely plays all 90 minutes, and sometimes he sits out whole game on the bench. Toni Kroos has played 32 games for Bayern in all competitions this season, and scored 2 goals.

3. Moyes has the need and money to bring Kroos to his squad

Kroos will be offered a massive 250 thousand pounds-per-week contract, and a guaranteed place in the starting eleven. Kroos is regarded as a permanent solution for Manchester United’s poor midfield display this season, and with the likes of Felaini or Carrick, Moyes would start a new era, and build up the United squad from scratch.

Additionally, it’s been speculated that in the board meeting, which should happen soon, United board would grant 200 million pounds for spending on transfers in the next summer transfer window.

If that occurs, we should expect a very interesting summer in Manchester, with the likes of Kroos, Gundogan, Reus, Cavani, Shaw, Coentrao, Koke, and probably a few more players to come in negotiations with Manchester United.
