According to reports, Real Madrid are prepared to offer Tottenham Luka Modric in a cash plus player deal which could see Harry Kane arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu. This is according to Spanish source Don Balon.
With Los Blancos poor by their standards this season, they are likely to undergo a squad revolution during the summer and Kane has been viewed as the ideal replacement for Karim Benzema who has been woeful in front of goal this season and who is likely to be replaced during the summer.
Modric was a fan-favourite during his four-year-spell at Spurs. However the Croatian is now 32-years-old and though he can still deliver fine performances, he is not the player that he once was.
Kane is one of the world’s best and most feared forwards, having scored 30 goals from 30 games so far this season.
However Tottenham are naturally unlikely to be willing to part ways with their star man on easy terms.vv
