Tottenham have recalled youngster Cameron Carter-Vickers from his loan spell with Sheffield United.
Carter-Vickers was impressive during the first half of the season as he went on to make 17 appearances for the Blades.
In addition to this, he also earned his senior debut for the United States national team in a November friendly international.
Carter-Vickers made four appearances for Spurs in Cup matches last season and is highly regarded by manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Last month, Pochettino hinted that he would recall the American when he said that the decision will be “more about his development than if we need or don’t need some more centre-backs in the squad.”
Carter-Vickers returns to the Spurs squad full of confidence following an impressive first half of the season with the Blades and he will now be hoping to work as hard as possible in order to earn game time with Spurs during the second half of the season.
