Tottenham chairperson Daniel Levy has promised that the North London club will not let their best players leave this summer.
Spurs have some of the world’s best players in their side such as Harry Kane, Hugo Lloris, Dele Alli, Toby Alderwiereld and Christian Eriksen to name but just a few. These players are likely to attract attention from elite clubs.
They could be tempted considering that Spurs have struggled to win trophies during recent years, and the last time that they won silverware was when they claimed the League Cup in 2008.
Despite speculation linking some of the stars away from the club, Levy has insisted that Mauricio Pochettino will have no problem keeping key players at the club.
“I am 100 per cent confident that every player we want to keep I can assure you will be playing for Tottenham Hotspur next season,” he said.
“Mauricio’s strategy has always been that if an opportunity arises that he thinks can improve the squad then we will need to look at it, but January is always a very difficult window.”
