Rangers reportedly on the trail of talented £1million-rated midfielder

The Scotsman says that Rangers are looking to boost their midfield with the signing of Hamilton playmaker Greg Docherty this January for a fee of about £1m.

The 21-year-old midfielder has put in exquisite performances for Hamilton over the last two seasons, which earned him a new deal earlier this season.

He was one of the best players for the Lancashire side last season, and made a crucial contribution for their ‘survival’ in the top-flight, scoring the decisive goal against Dundee United in the play-off final.

One of the most promising Scotts talents has managed to continue the good form this year, and Rangers’ fans want to see him as their next favorite.

The Scotland U-21 international is a skillful player, with great vision and technique, and he could certainly be a valuable asset for Graeme Murty for the second-half of the season.

It is expected that a couple of players will come to Ibrox after Sean Goss, with Docherty and Jamie Murphy could be among them.
