Italian newspaper Corriere Dello Sport reports that AC Milan would like to bring Tottenham midfielder Moussa Dembele in January transfer window. The same news was previously broadcasted by many English media but should be taken with a grain of salt.
The Belgian international has been sidelined by manager Mauricio Pochettino this season, primarily because of his injury problems and he has mainly been used as a substitute in most games.
Eric Dier, Victor Wanyama, and Christian Eriksen have all been favored over Dembele this season and after Moussa Sissoko started to play as a central-midfielder, there’s even less space for the 30-year-old.
On the other hand, Milan have been enduring a terrible season so far. Although they managed to advance to the knock-out stage of Europa League; they are currently occupying 11th place in Serie A, and the performance is awful given the money they invested in the summer transfer window.
For now, Dembele’s move to AC Milan is just a speculation; we will see how the things will evolve in the transfer market.
