Tottenham reportedly ready to let flop leave in January

According to a report published by the Independent, Tottenham may loan out Georges N’Koudou during the January transfer window as a result of the return of Erik Lamela from injury.

N’Koudou has featured five times in all competitions this season but he is not an important member of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad, especially considering that only one of his appearances has been in the Premier League.

The winger last featured for Spurs during their 3-0 Champions League win against APOEL Nicosia during which he scored a goal.

Despite having only recently returned from a long-term injury, Lamela has already featured more than N’Koudou having made several appearances.

N’Koudou is still only 22 and could certainly benefit from getting more first team experience. However on the other hand, Lamela has just returned from injury and it may be too much of a risk to loan N’Koudou in case the Argentina once again gets injured.
