According to reports, Real Madrid could be set to offer Gareth Bale back to Tottenham in an attempt to sign striker Harry Kane.
Los Blancos are likely to undergo major squad changes during the summer especially as their performances have been underwhelming this season. Spurs sold the Wales international Bale to Madrid four years ago for £85 million.
After not featuring regularly for the Spanish giants so far this season, the 28-year old Bale is widely expected to leave the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season and Spurs along with Manchester United have been linked with his signature.
Kane is now one of the World’s best players and is a target of Real. Spurs will naturally want to keep their prized asset, however Real may be able to offer him wages of at least £300k a week and this prove to be a problem.
