According to reports, Tottenham could be set to recall Vincent Janssen from his loan spell with Turkish club Fenerbahce during the January transfer window.
The Dutch international has not exactly hit the ground running in Turkey and has so far only managed to find the back of the net twice.
Despite this, he has emerged as a crowd favourite. It now appears that Mauricio Pochettino’s side could be set to recall Janssen for two reasons.
The first is as a replacement for veteran striker Fernando Llorente who has struggled to adapt to life in North London following his move from Swansea during the summer transfer window.
The second is that Spurs could be set to sell the striker to Napoli in a permanent deal. Janssen joined Spurs during the summer of 2016 for a fee of £16 million but has struggled for form.
