Tottenham to reportedly hold talks with European side regarding striker

Tottenham Hotspur are going to engage in talks with Turkish giants Fenerbahce over the future of striker Vincent Janssen and the possibility of the extension of the Dutchman’s loan deal for another one season – according to reports from Turkish outlet Fanatik.

Janssen joined Tottenham from AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2016 for a reported fee of around £19million but he failed to impress for the North London outfit during his single season there and was immediately shipped out on loan to Turkish side Fenerbahce over the summer.

The loan move to the Turkish outfit has worked out well for the 23-year-old, who has started regaining his touch in recent weeks, with the striker scoring three goals in last four matches.

This fine form from Janssen has led Fenerbahce to consider the possibility of extending this loan deal of the talented striker beyond this campaign, with the Turkish giants set to hold talks with Spurs in coming weeks.
